What was a History Empty
PostSubject: What was a History   What was a History Icon_minitimeTue Jul 12, 2011 7:04 am

Ok so this was my wolf Champei's history but I wasn't satisfied with it and decided to change the plot completely so I'm going to share it with you. If you like I can continued this but otherwise it shall stay as this.

✿Before Birth✿
This wolf, from the start, was never like other wolves. Her mother had become deeply distressed when she realised she was with pup again. However it was not because she didn't want them and love them. It was because she already loved them enough to want to protect them from the horrors of her world. From the humans' illegal animal testing facility. The mother knew that if they were lucky some of her pups might be chosen for the breeding program, as she was. Their life would be infinitely safer.

The experienced mother knew, however, that not all of her pups would be chosen for that and be used for other things. Some would probably not make it. Others would have tests upon them for the rest of their lives. Like the four litters before them though she vowed to care for them and love them for time she had with them.

✿Life For A Pup✿
From the day she was born Champei knew the cold touch of Man. It was rough and not pleasant like the soft gentle touch of her mother. She came to dislike the humans' touch. The first two months were the happiest for mother and pups. Everyday the pups were measured and weighed but this became tolerable over time. Champei and her three brothers and two sisters lived happily.

The humans began to give them mushy food to eat and Richelle knew that her time with her pups was limited. It was not two weeks later when the humans came into their cage. Immediately the mother knew their purpose, different from previous times. Champei, along with the other pups didn't understand as Richelle stood protectively over them. The humans knew what to expect, it was the same thing she did every time it came to this.

Champei, still little, didn't understand why the humans suddenly put something around her mother's neck and dragged her away from them. Each of the pups was picked up and placed in a box. The reddish pup was frightened and curled up next to her sister, Saige. Endellion, her other sister was barking up a storm, as were her brothers, Izo and Ryker. Jagur was curled up in a corner, watching everything with large fearful eyes. Richelle howled mournfully in a goodbye to her loved pups.

That was the last time Champei saw her mother. She never forgot what she had been taught in that time. The one she held onto for the time ahead was this, “Let love always flow from your heart, Champei, and so never let your smile lose its warmth.” Her mother had finished with a bright smile and licked her on the nose.

That memory flashed through Champei's mind as they were taken away. The six of them were placed in a cage. From there they could see other pups through the glass. Some looked sick but other smiled and wagged their tails at the new group. “What kind of place is this?” asked Izo looking around. “It's where they raise pups before they decide what they are going to be used for,” spoke Saige solemnly.

Champei felt a shiver run down her spine. Their mother had warned them of this. Instead of thinking of what their future might hold she sat down, smiled at her siblings and declared, “This is nothing we can't handle.”

✿First Tests✿
Champei and her siblings lived in their new cage for a week before things changed again. Endellion was taken for what the pups assumed to be the usually daily check where they measured and weighed the pups. This was not so. It was far longer than the usual time away. “What's going on? Jagur questioned worriedly. “The horror has begun,” said Saige. The pups all looked at her, knowing what she meant. Their mother had warned them of what might happen to them.

When Endellion was returned to them she was different. Her bright fiery eyes were striken with fear. The pups huddled around her, trying to get her to tell them what happened, fascinated by a new object around her neck. She only stayed silent. Just then Champei was snatched up. She tucked her tail under her belly and pinned back her ears.

The pups was scared of what was going to happen to her. As per usual she was measure and weighed. Then she was taken to another room. This one was different. Many strange objects lay around this room, benches surrounding the outside. A metal table in the centre had leather straps, possibly for holding something down.

It was onto this table which Champei was placed. Around her neck, the humans tied something on like that which had gone on her sister. Four chains were then clipped to that collar and they attached to each corner of the table. Champei tried to struggle free of this contraption but it sat firmly around her neck. It was sufficient to keep her from moving very much while one of the humans went to grab something.

“So what are we doing with this one?” the younger human that stayed by the table asked. “We'll start with a few injections and cream on the paw pads,” came the reply, as he turned around holding a needle. Champei whined as she stared up at the sharp tip.

“Hold it still.” Hands grasped Champei, holding her down so that her belly was exposed. She squirmed but it was of no use. The hands holding her down were experienced and she did not escape the prick of the needle. For a small pup that injection onto her belly was painful. There were three other injections, each onto a separate area on her belly.

When they were finished with that some cream was rubbed onto her paws. It was rubbed in well and felt like fire burning her. Their use for that day was done and she was taken back to her siblings. Her paws still felt like fire was licking at them and she pranced about trying to stay off them. Giving up on this method she flopped down.

Soon enough all the pups had had injections and cream rubbed somewhere on their body, some having had fur shaved to do so. All of them but Ryker. He'd heard them mention breeding when he was taken for his daily check, so he would be safe from testing.

The next day Champei was taken for her daily weigh in and measurements and then back to the room with the metal table. Again chained up she was forced to lie on her side. The areas of the injections on her belly were roughly scraped for skin samples as were her paws. All were still tender and each time it happened she let out a yelp. Once that was done she was taken back.

This happened everyday for some weeks. By the end of it Champei's skin no longer hurt as they scraped it. She was then subjected to their next treatment.

✿Separate Ways✿
At three months of age the pups were placed into carry cages to be moved from where they lived. They were getting too big for the place they were at. The carry cages were placed on a trolley and wheeled away.

The first stop saw Saige unloaded. The female was promptly removed from the carrier and forced into a device that went over her head and held her body standing. Other creatures were in devices like that what Saige was put into. Its purpose, to drip chemicals in the creatures eyes. Champei let out a whine goodbye, unfortunately it was lost in the cries of the creatures in pain, including her sister.

The group was moved onward to another place. This time it was lined with various creatures, their bodies enclosed in metal boxes. They all had pained expressions on their faces. It was Jagur who was taken next. He was placed inside a box much like the others, with his head sticking out. He struggled but was firmly trapped. It got worse for the male pup as a chemical liquid was poured into the sealed box. His pained cries were heard as Champei and the rest were taken off to the next stop.

The next stop was short as it was the breeding area. Ryker was dropped off, left to live in peace growing up to mate with other females. He would have the happiest life there of the six. The second last place dropped off both Endellion and Izo. They were taken to be used for biological testing.

Champei was last to be dropped off. She was deposited in the random testing housing. The pup was placed in a cage that was big enough for and adult wolf to stretch out in. Concrete covered the floor and provided the walls. A wire mesh covered the front of her new cage. This would be where she lived for the rest of her time there.

I like it, she is a very interesting character, one i probably would not have come up with. And her history is VERY well thought out.

Thank you very much Kegan Very Happy I had done some research into the subject but the more I did the less I wanted this to actually be Champei's history.
